ITM Priority Card Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions for the Priority Card (“Card”) carefully. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions, you should not proceed any further with the application for a Card.

Application and membership

Application for and membership of the Card programme is free.

If you do not wish to receive information about ITM’s products and services, you should not apply for this Card.

Only individuals may apply to become Card holders. Any individual who becomes a Card holder agrees to be bound by these Card terms and conditions, as varied from time to time. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms and conditions of an ITM store and these Card terms and conditions, the Card terms and conditions shall prevail.

Your Card and its use

You can enrol in the Card programme either on-line (www.itm.co.nz) or pick up an application form from any of our participating ITM stores.

Your Card will be issued within 21 days of receiving your application. ITM reserves the right to refuse any application for a Card without giving any reason.

The Card may be used by you and any other person(s) you permit to use your Card. By using or permitting another person to use your Card, you and the person using your Card will each be taken to have affirmed your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions as varied from time to time.

You must present the Card at a participating store in order to receive the Card benefits. Failure to produce the Card may result in you not receiving the Card benefits. If you misplace or lose your card and wish to receive a replacement card you should notify the ITM Support Office. We will endeavour to provide you with a replacement card within 12 days of notification.

You should notify us of any change to your contact details once you have received your Card. You may either update your contact details directly via our website (www.itm.co.nz) or by contacting the webmaster by e-mail at prioritycard@itm.co.nz

Your Card is not transferable and remains the property of ITM. It may not be copied or reproduced.

Rewards

A Card holder may present his or her Card at participating ITM stores nationwide to receive rewards such as discounts on goods.

Rewards may only be obtained in person at a participating ITM store by producing your Card.

Every ITM store nationwide is independently owned and operated and each reserves the right not to participate in the Card programme. Each store has sole discretion in respect of any discounts or rewards they might offer through the Card programme. Discounts and rewards may differ from store to store and are subject to change.

ITM makes no representations or guarantees in relation to discounts, if any, available at any ITM store.

Cancellation

ITM may terminate a membership of the Card programme, without notice and for any reason, including if the Card holder:

  • fails to comply with these terms and conditions
  • copies or reproduces a Card
  • abuses any privilege accorded to the Card holder under the Card programme
  • dies or becomes bankrupt.

A Card holder may at any time terminate his or her membership by giving written notice to the ITM Support Office or unsubscribing from the Card programme online at www.itm.co.nz (via the Card section).

In addition, ITM may at any time suspend or terminate the Card programme without prior notice. ITM may provide notice of any cancellation of the Card programme on our website. ITM is not liable for:

  • any delay in replacing a Card or for any unauthorised use of a Card
  • any reward not being available for any reason
  • the suspension or termination of the Card programme.

Personal Information

Under the Privacy Act 1993 we advise that:

The application process for Cards, both on-line and in-store, collects personal information about you including your name, address, telephone numbers, how much you spend in our stores, lifestyle information and any other information collected in relation to your use of our products and services (“Information”). Information will be collected by ITM and held at ITM’s Support Office in Auckland.

The intended recipients of the Information are ITM and Transacting Shareholders of ITM (each an “ITM Store”). Your Information may be held and used by us for a number of purposes connected with ITM’s business operations and functions including:

  • processing your application
  • helping us to provide you with our products and services
  • improving our service
  • carrying out market and product analysis and marketing our products generally
  • contacting you (including by post, email, fax, text messages or telephone) about ITM’s products and services which we think may be of interest to you.

Each Card holder consents to the collection and use of their personal and other information in the manner set out above and the disclosure of such information to ITM Stores and selected service providers for the purposes of operating the Card programme and to provide information about ITM’s products and services. Information about Card holders will not be provided by ITM to any person except as provided in this section.

You have the right to access, correct or update your details at any time. If you wish to update your details you may do so on-line at www.itm.co.nz (click on the Card link) or in writing to ITM’s Support Office. Details cannot be updated at any ITM Store.

General

We may change, add to, delete or replace these terms and conditions from time to time. The current terms and conditions are set out on our website. A printed copy of the current terms and conditions may be requested from the ITM Support Office.
